The ACT Alliance commissioned Hannah to write two media briefings on the in-depth analysis carried out by INKA Consult on the EU's climate finance to developing countries These briefings were published in September 2020, as Falling Short (looking at climate finance from the European Commission and the European Investment Bank), and Setting the Standard (looking at how contributions by EU member states compare). 

What I learned: 

Climate finance is absolutely vital for developing countries, but also deeply technical,  so I was really happy to help make this excellent analysis by INKA Consult as accessible as possible. I love the work of Stephanie Evergreen, who gives advice and instructions on how to make beautiful data visualisation that really aids understanding, and this gave me a chance to put some of it into practice.
