Christian Aid - SOAS consortium research on drugs and (dis)order
The Drugs & (dis)order project is a research consortium, led by SOAS at the University of London, which seeks to find policy solutions for the transformation of illicit drug economies in conflict into peace economies in Afghanistan, Myanmar and Colombia. Hannah worked for consortium partner Christian Aid in the final year of the project, convening and facilitating a practitioners' workshop to discuss the issues arising, writing a successful proposal to present an interactive workshop on drugs & (dis)order at Geneva Peace Week in November 2021, and writing a Christian Aid policy brief on violence, peace and drugs in the borderlands drawing on the consortium research. Hannah also was asked by SOAS to co-facilitate a Policy Lab for invited practitioners, and a policy session at the consortium's final conference, held online in February 2022.
