National Disability Authority - facilitation training
In April 2021, Hannah delivered a training workshop on facilitation skills for staff of the National Disability Authority of Ireland. This custom tailored workshop looked at how to facilitate online consultations with particular attention to inclusion of people of all abilities and disabilities; how to manage breakout groups and reporting sessions for effective consultations; how to manage participants gracefully and tips and techniques for enhancing engagement of participants online.
What the client said:
Hannah from Barncat Consulting provided excellent training to staff on group facilitation. Hannah took the time to understand what was needed and so was able to provide the requisite training. Her work was informed by careful identification of the needs, expectations and wishes of each attendee. She was also available for those who had additional queries to contact her directly.
It was a pleasure to work with Hannah. She is calm and a good listener and communicator. She is organised, punctual and thorough and has a wealth of experience. She is thoughtful and gives attention to detail. The attendees were delighted with the training, which they found to be practical, extremely beneficial, engaging and enjoyable.
