Department of Foreign Affairs (Irish Aid) - team workshops
Hannah delivered various strategy and teambuilding sessions to different teams in the Department of Foreign Affairs in 2022. These days provided an opportunity to come together in person, a chance to reflect on the lessons learned during the pandemic, and to plan for the future.
What they said:
Really great facilitation. I particularly welcomed how you were able to pull us all together and to give us focus. You also managed to give us space to relax and have some fun. Much appreciated!
Very interactive discussions, and space for listening/feeding in when you wanted/had something to say.
Very effective facilitation. The series of short exercises were good at keeping attention focused. Appreciated the very strong focus on outcomes and keeping distinctions clear between definition, discussion, outputs etc.

After a long and difficult pandemic, my team in the Department of Foreign Affairs came together for the first time in 26 months. Many colleagues were meeting for the first time in person. Hannah’s excellent facilitation helped us to quickly re-establish an esprit de corps. Her solutions-focused approach helped us identify improvements to our ways of working. And her diligent approach to meeting preparation and documenting follow-up means that I am able to hand over many of the actions and conclusions to my successor, as I move on this summer. I would thoroughly recommend Hannah’s facilitation to anyone seeking to rebuild their teams and foster a sense of shared purpose as we emerge from lockdown ways of working.
